Why can't I see the camera feed?

Please troubleshoot as follows: 1) Check if you clicked "Allow" to grant camera permission; 2) Confirm the camera is not being used by other apps (like Zoom, Teams); 3) Check if camera driver is working properly; 4) Ensure camera cable is properly connected; 5) Try refreshing the page and test again.

Will the test upload my video or photos?

Absolutely not! All tests are performed locally in your browser, and the video stream never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or upload any video or image data. Your privacy is 100% protected.

Which browsers and devices are supported?

Supports all modern browsers: Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, Edge 90+. Supports all platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS. We recommend using the latest browser version for the best experience.

How do I switch between different cameras?

If you have multiple cameras (such as laptop built-in camera, external USB camera, phone front/rear cameras), you can switch in the "Select Camera" dropdown menu. Switching will automatically reconnect without needing to re-authorize.

What if the camera image is blurry?

Common solutions: 1) Wipe the lens with a clean soft cloth; 2) Increase ambient lighting, avoid backlighting; 3) Adjust camera distance and angle; 4) Check if the correct camera device is selected; 5) If it's a hardware issue, you may need to replace the camera.

Why is the frame rate low or video stuttering?

Possible causes: 1) Insufficient computer performance, close other resource-intensive programs; 2) Outdated camera driver, update to the latest version; 3) Insufficient USB port power, try a different USB port; 4) Webcam quality issues.

Where are screenshots saved?

After clicking the screenshot button, the image will automatically download to your browser's default download folder (usually "Downloads"). The filename format is webcam-screenshot-timestamp.png.

Can I record video?

The current version only supports screenshot functionality. For video recording, we recommend using your system's built-in screen recording tool or professional screen recording software.
